Discipline

  • The academic session of the school will be from March to February. The medium of instruction and expression is English. Punjabi the mother tongue is taught from U.K.G. and Hindi the national language from first standard onwards.
  • Both students and parents must read all the rules printed on the school diary and circulars which will be issued from time to time. Ignorance of the rules will not be taken as an excuse for non compliance.
  • The minimum age of the candidates for the admission to the Nursery is three (3) years.
  • It is essential that an authentic certificate of the date of the birth of the candidate be produced at the time of admission.
  • No student shall be admitted to the school (Class I onwards) without transfer certificate from the school last attended and duly countersigned by the concerned education officer.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or dismiss the students, irregular attendance or habitual negligence of duty or misbehavior or conduct injurious to the tone of the school or insubordination to the authority or any other type of misconduct is a sufficient reason for the suspension or dismissal of a student.
  • Any kind of damage done to the school property including writing on the wall or on the school furniture must be compensated at the expense of the offender along with the fine that may be imposed by the principal.
  • No refund or exchange will be made once the receipt is issued.
  • No student will be granted leave without prior notice. In all the cases permission is at the discretion of the principal. Those who are absent for 8 consecutive days without the prior permission from the principal are liable to have their names struck off the rolls.
  • The Principal may request parents to withdraw whose children in case they do not fit in with the regulations of the school or are not capable of any improvements or if the parents themselves do not co-operate with the school authority.
  • The students are expected to take active participation in the co-curricular activities, educational, tours, picnics etc. arranged by the school.
  • No student will be exempted from P.T. or games unless he/she produces a doctor’s certificate showing that he/she is physically unfit to take part in extra-curricular activities which is an integral part of their training.
  • Pupils should attend the school regularly. They must reach the school at least five minutes before the assembly. Late comers may not be allowed to attend the session of the day.
  • Every students should bring the school diary daily. All information or request is conveyed to the parents/guardians through the diary by the principal/teachers.
  • Students are not allowed to bring sharp edged instruments, razor blades, valuables, especially golden ornaments. Other books, news papers, periodicals etc. are not allowed in the school.
  • No student shall be allowed to go out or to be taken out of the school compound without obtaining the ‘out pass’ from the principal. The out pass shall not be issued unless the Principal is satisfied with the genuineness of the matter and accompanying person.
  • Parents should see that their child comes to the school with their daily needs like writing materials, tiffin, test books, copies etc.
  • Cleanliness of person and dress is expected of every student. They are supposed to come in full school uniform.
  • Students themselves will be responsible for their own belongings. The school will not entertain any claim for the loss of money, clothes, watches and ornaments etc. however on bringing any such loss to the notice of the principal, inquiry may be conducted. It is advised to mark the name on all his/her belongings.
  • Allotting of sections/houses and shuffling, as and when required, is fully at the discretion of the school authorities and no request for a particular section/house or changing of a section/house is entertained, unless it is found very essential.
